September 16, 200322 yr Yeah, it's a nice looking bird, especially the cabin, but I am unable to use active camera to go anywhere, is this a feature or a bug, any ideas?Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
September 16, 200322 yr The E170 panel is actually quite different from the E135-145, but, Bill G has finished his update for FS9, and uploaded it to FSNordic. Just waiting on them to get it into the library. Regards,Brian Doney
September 16, 200322 yr How do you get past the EULA? I just get a window, have read it, but there is no way to accept it! And the computer does nothing. It looks so good, can't wait to find out how to download it! If I can't get it from dreamwings, will AVSIM put it in the library?Justin
September 16, 200322 yr Drag your mouse along the top edge of the Eula and then along the right side. The I agree option will show up.Brent HebertMEMBERhttp://www.cox-internet.com/bhebert/aopa.jpg
September 17, 200322 yr There's a note in the aircraft folder than answers your question: "For FS2004 users: A panel must be assigned, otherwise you can
September 17, 200322 yr Thanks Ken, just when you think you know everything about FS, something new comes along! LOLPretty awesome bird, great quality in the cockpit!!! With this VC I might have to start flying heavies, at least I can go to the toilet during a flight now! LOL Amazing FPS with this kind of detail!!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
September 17, 200322 yr There is no VC for fs9 in the "with VC" download. I even tried to put a generic one in, but the .mdl must be pooched because I can't get it to show.VC panels must be a real pain, there isn't a freeware one for heavy planes made yet that I've seen. Some are even just putting in photo bmp's for the 2d for the fake vc feel.Maybe I'm spoiled, but I'm hooked on the 3d cockpits and won't fly a plane without one anymore. /sigh
September 17, 200322 yr I really really appreciate the effort to put a new airplane as freeware and with a such good quality model. But the flight model is completely messed up, climb is almost at the levels of an F-16 and trimming is impossible.I'm no real pilot but it really feels terrible in Fs2004, and last thing, there is no VC at all, I read the instructions a lot of times, downloaded the file 2 times to be sure it was the right file but still no VC, not such an issue for me since I don't love VCs but other may complaint.Keep up the good work and it will turn out as a great plane, but now is time to edit that .air file ;)
September 17, 200322 yr <<< there is no VC at all, I read the instructions a lot of times, downloaded the file 2 times to be sure it was the right file but still no VC, not such an issue for me since I don't love VCs but other may complaint >>>There is no 3D cockpit designed into in the Dream Works 170. It is a 3d virtual cabin for walking around among the passengers.Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
September 17, 200322 yr I use Helio Estrela's Fokker 70/100 panel and it works great. Even the interior views seem to match. I second Leo's remarks regarding the FDE. The plane is a handfull to fly with an oversensitive trim that makes the nose pitch up and down at normal cruise levels with the a/p engaged. I'll try messing with the flight dinamics on the aircraft.cfg to see if I can lower the elevator effectiveness or sensitivity. If not then I'll have to adapt another air file, probably a 732 or the default learjet :-( Otherwise an outstanding aircraft. My sincere congratulations and gratitude to the guys at Dreamwings. You people deserve all the credit for keeping our hobby alive!Cheers!Mauricio
