It will use AIRAC navdata available from www.navigraph.com. I'm not sure which cycle PMDG will supply with the product, if one at all...

if one at all...
PMDG has always included navdata as part of their projects (above Light products) and even after NavData went to a paid service, they at least included the current data as of release.Kyle

I just hate that I need to pay for it.

There was a rather lengthy discussion on the VATSIM forums about why the data is payware. See: http://forums.vatsim...php?f=6&t=50637To the OP: PMDG has always included some form of AIRAC with their products. I'd imagine that they'd do the same for the NGX.

Be glad you aren't a real airline that spends hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for the same data...

I'm more grateful that there's somewhere to buy it from really. Imagine if there was no Navigraph? Of course you could always fly with old data and be more than content. It's the wanting to have the latest available that drives us all to get it.

Oh sure I really like flying with old nav data..... NOT Their's been a major push for a long time for NextGen system and to some degree GPS' RNAV.

Ummm, ok, I don't quite understand your point Ken, as for me saying use old data, I think the average simmer (or maybe even above average) would never know the difference. People have done it for years and will continue to do so. Of course me personally like I said, I love it and prefer the latest. As for GPS RNAV, I fly LPV quite often in the smaller planes but still can't see your point,,, if your trying to contridict me that is.
