Hi Guys!I have a question concerning the overall graphic performance of the NGX.Currently i am using your wonderful 744. Performance is quite good. I've heard in some threads here, that the 747-8i expansion pack will bring a much better overall performance to the graphics.Because i am thinking of buying the 748 i just wondered if the NGX will be in the 748 sector of performance or maybe even better?So if it will be, i'll be waiting for the NGX then. ;)Regards,Thomas Rank

I think it will be way better. The NGX is built from scratch, while the 748i is just a visual update to the 744X. If you look through other topics about NGX performance, you´ll get a clear idea about it.

What i think would be a good idea for PMDG is, releasing a low-res virtual cockpit for all those users, not owning a super-highend machine.Flying from the Virtual Cockpit has always remaind a dream to me. I am mostly using window views or tailcam with the 2D panels.But for now, lets sit here, have a tea or two and wait for the NGX :)Thanks so far!Thomas

Why, what is your machine spec?

Acer IPower G5630Intel I7 920 @ 2,67Mhz8 GB RAMWin Vista 64BitNvidia GTX280 Graphics.Flying without tweaks and compromises is only at low FPS possible.RegardsTom
