Hi Using RC would the PSS airbus respond to the auto pilot or does it rely entirley on the FMC for guidence Shaun

The A340 panel issue is an installer glitch. PSS support posted a quick fix in the forum this morning and an official fix is coming - I wouldn't think it will take long.Relax - the 340 does have a proper 4-engine cockpit with four thrust levers, etc. :)

Downloaded and Installed the Fix EVERYTHING WORKS FINE Overhead has 4 Of everything Pedestal Has Everything And I don't Blame the for Moderating the Forum Kinda Hard to get things Fixed with people constantly Griping

Interesting - my pedestal still only has 2 of everything after downloading the new installer. I have 4 engine gauges etc.Weird.Simon

hey guys, what happens if i got the thing the other way around? :Dwould anyone be so kind a post a panel.cfg from the a330. my A330 has 4 engines in the 2D panel ECAM view, however only two throttle devices in pedestal and 2 generators in overhead. thx in advance

Well it's a lot more than just *Griping* that they refuse to post. Just start asking about FBW ;) or Alpha Protection modelling . Funny I have not seen ONE post about this aspect or the many other things that were a problem on the A320 series on thier forums. I guess not many really know how the real A330 flys eh? Randy,I posted twice to correct the most obvious flaws in the cockpit. It was just friendly comments so that we could at least have a good A330 cockpit. I did not go into systems in any detail. It was basically just visual. Nothing ever appeared. Having said that the aircraft FMGS does work quite well.RegardsHoward

It is 14:53 EDT now.Last PSS forum moderation update - 07:05 EDT.ALl morning and afternoon those forums have been gathering posts. They'll all come through in one big chunk when they get around to it. That will be some ugly browsing. :) In normal times, a moderated forum is good. In these real busy times, moderation leads to tons of duplicate posts and more frustration than is worth. I'm awaiting answers and/or contributions from posts to see what's going on, and nothing has been let through since early this morning. Here's to hoping they get the posts through.-Greg

I have purchased the A330/A340 and I am highly disappointed. 3 minutes after take off ATC is ending, no VORs shown any more gear cannot be put down. After reloading the plane (by maintaining position)all is working again, however, for only some minutes. Then it makes "click" and ATC and all the other stuff is gone. Desaster.Cannot recommend A330/A340 for purchase.My system : 2,4 Giga, Windows XP, Radeon 9000 Pro, 512 KB Ram.FS 2004Chris, ViennaPS.: by the way, I have experienced similar problems with the Airbus 320 Pro from Phoenix with FS 2000. ####.

I think that your battery runs out. If I'm correct then you probably need the FSUIPC module to extend your battery's life.BTW, I just love resurrected threads...Regards,

I concur with the dead battery summation. I have the A320/330/340 series from PSS and everything works just fine. Fine aircraft.
