October 29, 201015 yr I spend a lot of time on my boat at Orcas (East Sound) and walk over to the airport almost every day. The images you posted are amazingly similar to what I see during my walks around the airport.I anchor my sailboat just off the village of East Sound - the south end of the runway is about 1000 yards from the top of my 60 foot mast. It is interesting when the small planes come in from the south into the typical 20 knot NW afternoon breeze. Right (lower) picture is looking south in East Sound toward Rosario Resort and shows the typical VFR weather during a fine summer day. Mirador is anchored just off the village of East Sound.Middle picture is a biplane taking off to the north - taken from south end of KORS runwayLeft hand picture shows the typical interaction of sailboats and seaplanes (Kenmore Air commuter) that you see in the San Juan Islands. Taken in Fishermans Bay on the west side of Lopez Island. October 30, 201015 yr Can't you download the ORBX libraries on their website? So I don't see why you would have to have PNW installed.
