October 7, 200322 yr A while back Chris Willis posted excellent tip allowing for decrease in the runway lights intensity by inserting the RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0,7 VALUE INTO THE fs9.cfg.I find the problem of taxiway lights to be way too bright.I tried a dummy approach of inserting TAXIWAY_LIGHTS_SCALAR value there as well but it did not work.Could someone enlighten me how to do it the right way, please?ThanksDom

October 7, 200322 yr Author Thanks for your input, but I am afraid it is not. The info only covers runway lighting I was initially referring to.Hope someone else can come up with a solution,Dom
October 8, 200322 yr Author Once again - thanks for replying. The problem I have is not with the size of the runway lights but with the taxiway lights. The fix you are indicating only pertains to runway lights.ThanksDom
October 8, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi, "The problem I have is not with the size of the runway lights but with the taxiway lights.`The runways setting control the taxi light setting also, they use the same value.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
October 8, 200322 yr Author Thanks Chris,Really????It is very strange as even going down to scalar value of 0,3 (where runway lights can be hardly visible) taxiway lights remian big green blobs...?I guess I must be doing something wrong then.Dom
October 14, 200322 yr I totally agree Dom, same exact thing is happening to me. Blobs of taxi lights and perfect runway lights. Does anyone have a solution to this????
