October 9, 200322 yr Anyone know of a good one, or a 2002 version that works in 2004? Free or otherwise, but I prefer free :)sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
October 9, 200322 yr i'm still using Mike Stone's B1900 for FS2002. works fine in FS2004. do a search in the library here in FS2002 for Mike Stone and you'll find plenty of repaints.chris
October 9, 200322 yr Author Any issues with the panel? And thanks for the info.sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
October 9, 200322 yr i actually use a different 1900 panel. its for 2002, but seems to work ok in 2004. i can't recall the name of it or the author tho, and am at work and unable to check right now. i'm pretty sure a search would turn up a couple for you to try.chris
October 9, 200322 yr Another site is Mike's, still up as of this posting, at www.pmstone.com under FS2K2 models. As I recall, the original panel was aliased to the King Air default which should take care of compatibility issues.(You also may wish to look at his upgrades to 2K4 models and new ones.) He is retiring from modeling and while he has closed his support forums, his download site appears to be up at this time. You will find several models under both platforms that under rules instituted a few months ago were not allowed to be distributed to other sites because of model modification and support issues. The 2K4 section also allows the download of custom panels for each new model by "Mitch" under a gentlemen's agreement. You will also find repaints as well. You may have to register (free) in order to download and it as recall is an immediate process.I have flown quite a few times with the 1900D (2K2) emulating a charter operation mainly for regional sporting events. This is a nice stable model. I will be adding Reality-XPs FLA and JL2 instrument line (2K2) to the panel I modified with FS Panel Studio (which now has a 2K4 upgrade available).Do an Avsin search on Werner Schott as author and you will find a checklist/operations parameter manual. Note another panel author is listed. The only issue could be a GPS redesignation in the panel for 2K4 compatibility. Several virtual airlines also have operations manuals for it.You may find info under Raytheon-Beechcraft since it was a combo effort if you do a Google search.
