Run Time error 62

Featured Replies

Hi there,Today I am getting error run time 62 error getting departure information, after I update the R4.csv to include data for RKSI, as it was showing all 0 and I could not contact tower or dep. What am I doing wrong. Please adv the list of column, I looked at other stations and it seems as follows:ATIS, Clearance, Ground, Tower, 0 , 0 Approach . is this correct.I am on wide FS and I tried to rebuild the DB after running RNWS maker with no luck. I even tried to copy the R5 from FS and rename to R4, same problemPlease adviseThanks for any inputHani

First, be sure you are running makerwys.exe downloaded and installed from here:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66136-useful-additional-programs-1st-november-2010/ . Versions before 4.41 had problems with some scenery layer priorities. Then look at r5.csv in your FS folder after running this version for the RKSI rows.In your FS folder there is a file called MakeRwys ReadMe.txt and you find the field descriptions of r5.csv and r4.csv there. I think there are a couple of additional fields appended now to r4.csv as appears in RC4/data so check it there too. We've also had some errors where the flight plan departure and arrival destinations disagree. Be sure you have the correct paths to FS and your the folder where your flt., wxr., and .pln files are kept somewhere in your user document tree. RC4 should have a shortcut to it with an advanced property to run it as an admin. These is required so it has proper access to FS and to where your flight information is stored.Check your .pln file for agreement with your airport data (a4.csv in RC4\data) which is built from r4.csv.

Hi Ron,Thank you for getting back to me,I have done and verified all you have mentioned, with no luck for RKSI, it seems it is not reading it, I don't know the reason, as I have checked the R4 and R5, and both has the all data for RKSI.Very strange. I have Maker rnwy 4.30, and it has access to the FS flt.Any other idea, I might have to do.Thanks in advanceHani

Here are the default FS9 RKSI lines in r4.csv under the rc4\data folder:RKSI,0151,37.483944,126.440140,23,152.740,12308,111.90BDG,197,-8.000,37.470161,126.452415,0,,RKSI,0152,37.481785,126.436325,23,152.740,12308,109.10BDG,197,-8.000,37.468002,126.448601,0,,RKSI,0331,37.454220,126.460876,23,332.740,12308,109.30BDG,197,-8.000,37.468002,126.448601,0,,RKSI,0332,37.456379,126.464691,23,332.740,12308,108.90BDG,197,-8.000,37.470161,126.452415,0,,and the a4.csv entry:RKSI, , 37.46908 , 126.4505 , 8 , 23 , 12308If you have an add-on or FSX scenery these values may differ slightly. Is this what you have? What created your flight plan? Please paste your .pln into a reply here. I'd like to check the format. Also, is this just at this airport or all. I was assuming all else worked.

I have Maker rnwy 4.30, and it has access to the FS flt.
You missed what Ron said about MakeRwys. Version 4.30 is out of date. Here is what he said:
First, be sure you are running makerwys.exe downloaded and installed from here:http://forum.simflig...-november-2010/ . Versions before 4.41 had problems with some scenery layer priorities.
See 4.41? That's the current release version on the Schiratti downloads page. Please don't use old versions. Some sceneries play tricks which necessitated extra precautions in MakeRwys.RegardsPete
