I been searching to buy an add-on GPS for a homebuild cockpit. I have found the VR insight and looked into it. However there are also another make but I cannot find the GPS. Google seem not to be my friend tonight..!Any ideas. ? It is a GPS simmilar to the VR Insight. I have seen it in a screenshot somewhere of a cockpit but for the life of me I cannot find that topic.!Any help will be appreciated

You don't really need a specialised FS add-on GPS, you can use any GPS that will accept a standard NMEA 0183 output signal if you have a registered version of FSUIPC, because FSUIPC will output the necessary data to a com port.Al

If all you are looking for are the knobs and buttons, you might want to consider the Elite GNS430 module.Less money, but the GNS screen is on your monitor..http://www.flyelite.com/?page_id=1318
