Incorrect frequency

Featured Replies

I have noticed a problem with my RC4. When I approached FAJS from the south, the Controller gave me the vectors to ILS 03L. However, when I lined up on Final, I was on 03R. He seemed to be asleep as I got cleared to land on 03L but landed on 03R without any protests. Is there a way to fix this? My links to FSX are correct and I have updated the database. It seems to be the only one that is incorrect. The only clue is that FAJS is a 3rd party add-on.

for me, FAJS 03L/R shows:FAJS,0031,-26.146406,28.234322,5557,32.490,14541,110.30BG,197,-16.900,-26.127197,28.240292,0,,FAJS,0032,-26.164761,28.248106,5557,32.450,11206,109.10BG,197,-16.900,-26.149954,28.252695,0,,with the frequencies of 110.3 and 109.1RC doesn't know what ILS frequency you dialed in. If you had dialed in the correct ILS frequency for 03L that matches your scenery, you would have landed on 03L, right? the fact that the runways are so close together, it was within the margin of error, so RC didn't ###### too bad about landing on the right runway.what are the correct frequencies for your scenery? what version of makerwys.exe is in the root directory of FSX? the frequencies comes from your scenery files, so i'm not sure how they could not matchmaybe you could copy and paste your FAJS data from \data\R4.csv here in your response, and also include what your scenery files say are the correct frequencies.jd

makerwys should be at version 4.41 or better as this fixes some scenery priority issues with add-ons. An updated version is at:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66136-useful-additional-programs-1st-november-2010/Install this in your FS folder and then from within RC rebuild the scenery database. If you are flying an aircraft that has autotune ILS such as some 747 models, its terminal procedure data might be different from your scenery. In this case you well have to manually tune your NAVs to the correct frequency.

Thanks for the reply.I can tell you this: Makerwys 4.4.1.0Scenery frequencies: 03L 110.30 : 03R 109.10I don't dial anything in , Otto does.I can find the RC r4.csv file but it doesn't make any sense to me. It just seems to be a mass of numbers no Airport reference such as FAJS.Can you point me in the right direction?

the line you pasted here doesn't have the airport name at the beginning, it's missing some commas, and more importantly, both runways share the same ils frequency. did you update your makerwys.exe to 4.41 like ron said?did you rebuild the rc scenery database after putting a 4.41 into the root directory of fs?jd
