December 2, 201015 yr Hello, this may seem silly but I was wondering if there are any other sources out there to view satellite images. I am trying to get a close up of a resort on Isla Mujeres Mexico. Google Earth's image seems to have a lot of glare from the sun hitting the beach. Bing's image is too old - the resort was still under construction (it opened in 2009). I need to get close enough to be able to see the 3x5 pools on the roof top suites. I can also use a base map that I can open in ArcMap10 - I have it on my home computer. Thanks MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad

December 2, 201015 yr Author How would arc map help you view any files of satellite images?I can view basemaps and images. The pre loaded basemaps are the same as Google Earth so their no good.Web based is really what I want - something like Google or Bing but with different images. Just threw out the GIS option if anyone knew of something. I have no idea how to load additional base maps that are not from ESRI but I would figure it out if someone knew of something. http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisonline/standard-maps.htmlI didn't see anything like that on the NASA site. Mostly news and NASA info. Maybe I missed something? Thanks for the help.
