Ifly vs PMDG 737

Featured Replies

I have read (and maybe incorrectly that you have to man. enter flightplans into the fmc, that you cannot just import them like in pmdg. Is that correct? FsBuild2 has a format for Ifly747 but not 737, and if it won't read fs2004 flight plans then it can't be used with say Radar Contact. Maybe I'm miss informed and this has been corrected.
I cant really answer that as I have always manually entered my flight plans regardless of what aircraft I am flying, So i never really looked into it.

Actually, you can generate a flight plan with FS Build and point it to a dummy iFly file for the 747 and then copy and paste it in the iFly 737 folder. If you use Vroute it will now allow you to import flight plans directly to the iFly 737. There have been some issues with how the flight plans worked in the FMC but they're making good progress on this.

Yes I just figured out how to get it into the FMC with FSBuild, it enters fine in the fmc but nothing is coming up on my flight display. I've just got this plane so maybe I'm doing something wrong

register on there forums and ask there, they are awesome when it comes to customer support
