I'm going back to flying FS2004 after a long hiatus and read the glowing reviews of FSgenesis. It is something that I think would greatly improve the experience.However, for a newbie, it is totally confusing as to what I need to buy at the storefront.I fly the US (mostly the northeast) and Central Europe (including Austria). Maestrogn, My suggestion would be to look at the one year download option. It's $99.00, which seems like a lot, but you can download everything they have available for FS9/FSX. The 19m mesh for North America in FS9 is fantastic. FSG is also running a 50% off sale ( it ends today) I'm not sure if that includes the one year download plan or not.Here's an example of the 19m mesh.

I went for this as well. Quite the bargain if you ask me considering you basically get everything they sell for $50. Might take me the year to download it all, but that's ok. :(
