Wingtips

Recommended Posts

I have configured my 737-900 in BA livery but have lost the facility to add the wingtips. How do I add the curved wingtips?
You can't just add them, they must be part of the model. This would show up in the aircraft menu if there is one. They are called "Winglets". BA may not have them or someone hasn't done a paint skin of BA for the winglet model.Jim D.

Considering BA doesn't operate NG, it would be safe to say they don't have winglets. Deiniolenman (I don't know your name, see forum rules), PMDG never modeled the -900ER, which is the only -900 version with winglets, and as such, you will not be able to put winglets on a -900.

That's not necessarily true. Continental, for one, has retrofitted their entire 737 fleet with winglets including their non-ER -900's.Matt LaMay

That 738 was neither owned nor operated by BA - from what I can see, it was owned by XL, who leased it to GB Airways who were a BA franchise, hence it operated in their livery. There were 'British Airways' 737-200's flying around in South Africa under Comair until very recently!
