Hi to everyone.Picture I have entered an airport ident in the FIX page and I want to display on the ND a line that intercepts my route at a specified distance from that airport (not on a specified radial), how would I do this?Thank you for the answer

Detailed in the FMS manual section 40.8. You might also want to think about using the Direct-To page and enther the fix and course in the Intercept section 1R (See FMS.30.15).

Thanks for the replyHowever in my manual there is no section 40.8, I can get up to 40.58 and then the descent section (50) begins.Could you give me additional details please?

If you just want an arc across your route, you can just enter the airport as a fix, use the 360 radial and then specify your distance. From there, just ignore the radial.Example:KIAD/360/35For Dulles, it'll draw a 360 radial, but it'll draw the circle around the airport so I can see the arc that crosses my route. Yes, the radial is there, but life isn't perfect - you have to use what you have.
