Autobrake.RTO works fine, but not MIN, MED & MAX.
Need a little more to go on here...when you select the autobrakes in the air, do you see the "INOP" light flash? It should flash on briefly when the brake setting is first made, then go out. On landing, there will be no direct indication other than deceleration of the airplane, which is slower and more realistic than the default FS autobrakes. At your first application of manual brake pressure through either the FS-assigned button or the FSUIPC offset control, or at ~40 knots groundspeed, the INOP light should illuminate, indicating that the autobraking is disengaged. So your autobrakes will not completely stop the jet, which is correct behavior. You can use FSUIPC's logging feature to watch offset 0BC4 (type U16) to see if brakes are being applied during rollout.
ALT and VS.When you select ALT HLD the default V/S does not show.
Correct. The proper way to work an SP-177 is to select the target altitude with the ALT knob, then select a target VSpeed with the VSpeed thumbwheel, then press the "V/S" switchlight, and at that point the acft starts to climb/descend. The default MSFS behavior of starting a climb/descent when the ALT target is changed is not correct. The aircraft will climb/descend at the selected vertical speed and it will automatically switch to ALT HLD mode when it levels off at the selected altitude. If you press the ALT HLD button, the aircraft immediately levels off and holds the altitude that the acft was at when the button was depressed, again, the intended behavior of a SP-177.
Unites. When you select KGS instead of LBS it does not show in the PDCS. but then again it never have.
OK, not a bug, but a feature I never put into the gauge...I'll put it on my list of things for a future update.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Please see the post above...the ALT HLD doesn't work the same as the default A/P. It is entered one of three ways...you select a target alt in the window and use either V/S or LVL CHG climb mode to climb/descend to that altitude, and it switches from the climb mode to ALT HLD on level off. The third way is to press the ALT HLD button, and the jet levels off immediately at its current altitude. Of course the A/P CMD button must be illuminated for any of the modes to work.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

The autobrake worked fine in the 1.26 version. The INOP light stays on about 3-4 sec when RTO is selected and then turns off, but when MIN,MED or MAX is selected the INOP light do not extinguish itself.Know the unit measurement in the PDCS is not a "bug", but it would be a nice feature in a future update. Thanks for the good job :)

Hi BobThanks for a great job on the new version,One other issue I have found so far is when disconnecting the Autopilot there is no aural warning only the flashing caution light.Plus I am not that happy with the sound of the Air Conditioning Packs.Running FS9 Windows 7 64 BitMerry ChristmasRegards Kevin

Stellar work, Bob.. you know how I feel about this jet.Being an avid ISG user, I immediately installed my Smith's FMC and related EFIS + EFIS control panel. My preferred setup differed a bit from yours, adopting a little of how SWA flies their -300s, and a little of how the current -200s are used with modern FMC units. That is to say, I like how SWA doesn't have glass panel EFIS displays replacing their HSIs (they fly their -300s using just the Smith's FMC and no visual EFIS display), but I also like how some have replaced the radar with a nav + radar display above the throttle stack where the old radar used to go. My point in all of this is that I fly a modified version of your modified version, so some things are bound to work a little differently. That said, I tried out your ISG1 panel and discovered that the FCU is still set to my original gauge vs. your re-coded FCU. Also, the TCAS control panel (transponder set and mode) were replaced by a gauge which appears to be a BMP background.. it's non-functional in any way as if the gauge isn't present, leaving me no way to enter my squawk code or the transponder mode. Lastly, the square VSI/TCAS gauge didn't show, though I see the black space where it was supposed to be.In the end, I reverted back to the basic panel file and manually edited in the ISG1 components, leaving the HSI alone (preferred). However, I would like to see the VSI/TCAS work.

Dear Bob,First of all, thanks very much again.I was writing the same issue with Kevin at the same time I think. I made a short, quick a test flight for checking existing bugs.-New sound DLL problem can be solve when re-install directX version (mine is 9.0c) as suggested above.-Autopilot warning has gone I think-1.26 version flap sounds better than new one!-there is no "no smoking" and "fasten belt" click sounds (chime)-there is no sound when start levers turn to GND while engine start(click or else)-spoiler lever slide down sound probably much better in 1.26 -altitude callouts doesn't say properly the counts (and very loud). I don't know it is causing from my configuration (winXP-SP2+onboard sound card). Does work properly in v1.26. It seems something wrong on sound recording.I'll try replace some of sounds from v1.26-is there any chance to add a "cart" object when we start cart with ground call button? also just I'm curious, if cart support electricty and air, should we see power when GND PWR switch ON?I can't see any value while cart running (probably my fault)MrSkyGuy's sperry177 looks great with new numbers. Is there any chance to add a cfg files for "sperry177+TCAS+INS"? (or I'll be follow your instructions about removing and replace lines "//" in cfg )Thanks for everything. Thanks very much for your effort. I wish you merry xmas, I hope you have get everything that you wish in new year.

Bob,Awesome job with the 200. I have read few the FAQ regarding the airspeed issue but, 1. My airspeed indicator does not indicate airspeed. 2. Also the attitude indicator does not indicate a nose up or down attitude. It does show the aircraft attitude while banking the aircraft but no pitch outputI am using FSUIPC 4.60a in FSX and I have a registered version of FSUIPCAny ideas...thanks

Hi BobFantastic work.I have a problem with the panel.cfg..... I am trying to use the CIVA INS and Lee Heatherington V/S-TCAS gauge, as I had on the previous mouse.I used the "panel.SP177.CIVA.cfg" (renamed to panel.cfg and edited it as follows:......................................................................................[Window00]//Select (remove leading slashes) from one pair of bitmaps//file=Main.bmp //Main panel bitmap with round dials (original)//file_1024=Main.bmp //file=Main_igs.bmp //Main panel bitmap with square HSI face for ISG glass HSI//file_1024=Main_igs.bmpfile=Main_tcas.bmp //main panel bitmap with square face for ILH TCAS gaugefile_1024=Main_tcas.bmp.................................................................................and:...................................................................................//gauge05=B732ADV!vsi, 399, 774, 131, 131 //round dial VVIgauge05=ILH_TCAS!IVSIb, 393,769,142,142, pic:no //VVI/TCAS, requires all "ILH" gauges //NOT compatible with ISG TCAS .....................................................................................in my FS9 gauges floder I have ILH_TCAS.gau and ilhtcaschange.gauIn the new mouse the TCAS VS gauge does not work at all. ??Many thanks for your efforts.Peter

To the folks with bug reports, it might help to remind you that Col. Scott has spent (and continues to spend) many sleepless nights working on this aircraft. Without Bob, the Mouse would have been squashed a long time ago.. So when you are posting your bug reports, try to avoid comments like "Im not happy with" and "wow, this was better before," etc. Choose your words a little more carefully and please show a little respect. This is, afterall, blood/sweat/tears freeware. Now, for the bug report:I do also concur that (in FS9 using the SP177 standard panel), the autobrake functions in RTO mode only. the MIN, MED and MAX settings leave the INOP light on. I have not yet tested the brakes for actual function in autobrake mode.

Hi Bob Batting%20Eyelashes.gif, I had the following error message when I chose the aircraft:error2.pngIt is written: "Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft and software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled. File: AIRCRAFT\fsfsconv\panel.b732ADV\B732ADV.gau"I use FS2004, Windows XP SP3, and a registered version of FSUIPC (v. 3.90). I revert back the panel to version 1.25, this time it works fine. I thought the gauge file (B732ADV.gau) is corrupted so I downloaded it again from avsim library, install the panel per instruction, but the error message won't go away. Also, I made the registered FSUIPC into unregistered version (by removing the fsuipc.key file and fsuipc.ini), but the problem still occured. One more question. In version 1.30, since there is no instruction to add the line Old_Modules FSSound in FS9.cfg ; do we have to erase the line Old_Modules and remove the file FSSound.dll from Modules folder?I hope you can fix those bugs and sorry for my poor english...

What are you using to control brakes? Is there a hardware axis mapped to the brakes?RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

The source of both airspeed and pitch attutude data in the panel is FSUIPC. You might try renaming your FSUIPC.ini file in the FSX \modules directory, and let FSUIPC build a new one. Also, since FSUIPC v4.xx uses SimConnect, sometimes SimConnect issues can cause these problems as well. There is no longer a need for FSSound.dll in V1.30 of the panel. Other add-ons may use it, however, so I would not remove it from the modules folder.I would start by going to the support.microsoft.com website and update DirectX, and also your video and audio drivers. The biggest source of trouble so far has been the XACT engine used for sounds, and older versions of DX9 and some drivers seem to be behind some of the gauge not loading problems.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
