Scott, Nope. Just find the Directx end user runtime file. I believe Bob has a link here on the forum just not sure. All I did was run the installer & it was all automatic. Nothing to add but the FS2Audio.dll to windows\systen32 folder & the 3 sound files to your flightsim\sound folder.PatPS here is the topic where the link is.

Hi Bob,The TinMouse continues to be a stellar plane. You are to be congratulated for this new version.Since installing this new verson 1.3, I have noticed the following. When loading FS9, I get the following screen "Invalid XGS Path. Please contact Support & quote eror code Ox80070057 & the message box title". When I then click "OK" I get "File Error" "One or more Xact Project Files could not be located at specified location". After clicking "OK", the error screen goes away & FS9 loads. After the plane has loaded to the panel view, there is a small screen "TinMouse Error" "No active audio device" After clicking "OK" it goes away & everything appears to work normal. I did update DirectX. I still get these screens. Was wondering what might be causing this.Best Regards,Bob Anderson

First, make sure the FS2Audio.dll file is in the Windows \system32 folder, and if you're using a 64-bit OS, it also needs to be in the windows \sysWOW64 folder. Then make sure that all three of the files TMPanelSound.xgs, TMSoundBank.xsb, and TMWaveBank.xwb are in the FS9 \Sound folder--not, repeat NOT, in the other sound folder located under fs9\aircraft\B737-200_TM2.If that doesn't work, go to the Flight1 website and get/run their registry repair utility to ensure that you have the correct path to FS9 in the registry.Last, if none of that helps, go to the Microsoft DirectX download website and update your DirectX 9.0c--link is in the FAQ pinned at the top of this forum. The error messages are telling you it can't find the TMPanelSound.xgs file in your FS9\Sound directory...odds are you just have it in the wrong place.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Col Scott,Since I have downloaded the T'Mouse v1.3 I have flown it several times. Avid Forum readers will instantly recall all my pressure altitude issues in a separate thread. All in all, this is an excellent platform and I have flown her almost exclusively in the past week...she is that much fun.One other thing I have noticed is that at night I don't see my taxi or landing lights illuminating the area in front of my aircraft after turning the switches on.. If I use the exterior view and look "back" at the aircraft from the front I can see the lights on the aircraft. On a whim I aliased the TM2 panel to a freeware B733 aircraft I have (which worked by the way). I loaded that 733 at night and after the panel loaded opened up the glare shield display and turned on the taxi turnoff and taxi lights...illumination of the ground was immediate.I turned off the taxi lights and turned on the landing lights. They shined directly on the ground beneath the wings (as they should) and then hit the retraction switch and they shined directly in front...as they should. So, the switches on the panel function as they should, but the "illumination" on the ground in front of the aircraft works in my 733, but not in the Tinmouse.Any ideas?Randy

Hi Bob and the "Tinmouse"-Team,first thanks a lot for Your great work and this wonderful aircraft ! :( Unfortunatly I have a problem with the airspeed indicator guage:- on ground the airsprred digits shows always 45 kts (wind calm).,- the airspeed indicator needle sometimes works, sometimes it stays at zero,- at the mach indicator, the digits are sometimes above instead at the middle of the mach indicator window, so they are not readable,. I have loaded the default C172 before the Tinmouse, and I have also initated a new buildung of the FSUIPC.ini, as You wrote; both couldn't solve it. :( Using FSX with Win7 Ultimat 64. Kind RegardsDietmar

Great Job on the TinMouse II!Noticed a problem (or maybe a bug) with the F1_B732_TRM_C.bmp texture and the cargo version where the interior passenger door is not appearing:TM_Door.jpgAm I missing something?

Excellent work TinMouse team! However I just have one issue with the plane, I'm using the SP177.ISG.TCAS panel and everything loads up fine except when the panel has completed initialization FS turns into a black screen and I have to kill it from the taskbar. I've also installed the Reality XP wxr and the sim is FS9.

If this is FSX, make sure that the "Aircraft landing-lights illuminate ground" option is checked in the FSX Options -> Display -> Aircraft menu selection. Some acft use effects files, some (like the TM II model) use lights built into the model. Acft with the effects files may indeed work without this option checked...acft with the lights built into the model itself must have the box checked to function. The landing and taxi lights work in both FS9 and FSX on all my test machines...the stock FSX illumination pattern is absolutely hideous, though--I had to go find a different spotlight.bmp file to stop it from offending my sensibilities.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

See item #2 in the Bug Status thread pinned in this forum. That panel.cfg had some issues with references to the PS737CA xml gauges, instructions to fix it are posted there. Also, make sure that ISG and ILH TCAS_Logic gauges are NOT both active in your panel.cfg. If you're still getting black screens, then the best advice I can give is to update DirectX, and then update both your video and audio drivers. If you updated DirectX already, it might be that your video driver predates the DX version and isn't completely compatible. I had some weird issues on one of my machines after the DX update which were cured by updating to the 261 series nVidia driver for my GTX480.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

The models were donated to the project "as-is" so a fix isn't likely to be forthcoming. Perhaps it would be possible to cut and paste the appropriate pieces from the textures included with the pax models...don't know.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
