TinMouse II V1.30 Bug Reports

Hi Bob and the "Tinmouse"-Team,first thanks a lot for Your great work and this wonderful aircraft ! :( Unfortunatly I have a problem with the airspeed indicator guage:- on ground the airsprred digits shows always 45 kts (wind calm).,- the airspeed indicator needle sometimes works, sometimes it stays at zero,- at the mach indicator, the digits are sometimes above instead at the middle of the mach indicator window, so they are not readable,. I have loaded the default C172 before the Tinmouse, and I have also initated a new buildung of the FSUIPC.ini, as You wrote; both couldn't solve it. :( Using FSX with Win7 Ultimat 64. Kind RegardsDietmar
The drum at 45 knots is a normal indication--the ASI does not indicate speeds below that.If you have pieces of the gauge, like the mach digits, floating around where they shouldn't be, I'd first be looking at a problem with DirectX and/or the video driver. I've seen some strange video anomalies on a machine with an udated DirectX version but a dated video driver. Another user reported the needle on the ASI disappearing...haven't heard back on whether a driver update fixed it, but OTOH I haven't heard any more about the problem, after I suggested that, either. It'd sure be nice if folks would follow through and report successes as well as failures so that others can gain from their experiences.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

The landing and taxi lights work in both FS9...
Mine is FS9 and they definitely do not work. I must have something wrong in the cockpit, a switch not switched or a toggle not toggled. I'll investigate further. I'll look at my FS9 settings as well. I remember an option in there for the number of lights displayedThank you Col Scott.
First, make sure the FS2Audio.dll file is in the Windows \system32 folder, and if you're using a 64-bit OS, it also needs to be in the windows \sysWOW64 folder. Then make sure that all three of the files TMPanelSound.xgs, TMSoundBank.xsb, and TMWaveBank.xwb are in the FS9 \Sound folder--not, repeat NOT, in the other sound folder located under fs9\aircraft\B737-200_TM2.If that doesn't work, go to the Flight1 website and get/run their registry repair utility to ensure that you have the correct path to FS9 in the registry.Last, if none of that helps, go to the Microsoft DirectX download website and update your DirectX 9.0c--link is in the FAQ pinned at the top of this forum. The error messages are telling you it can't find the TMPanelSound.xgs file in your FS9\Sound directory...odds are you just have it in the wrong place.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
Thanks Bob for your reply & help. I thought I had followed the readme instructions to the letter, but apparently somehow I hadn't correctly added the the 3 files TM PanelSound.xgs, TMSoundBank.xsb & TMWaveBank.xwb to FS9/Sound. After correctly doing that, everything is OK with no error messages. Thanks and again what a wonderful plane.Bob Anderson
The models were donated to the project "as-is" so a fix isn't likely to be forthcoming. Perhaps it would be possible to cut and paste the appropriate pieces from the textures included with the pax models...don't know.
I did try that as well as a couple of other things and still the same issue. As a matter of fact, it appears to be a problem with all the aircraft, regardless if it is a pax or cargo model.Regards,

I just fired up the stock Delta pax livery in both FS9 and FSX, and the inside of the door had a white textured finish.Maybe something in your video card settings?RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
Please post your bug reports here in this thread. I can't fix what I don't know about.

Hi Bob, thank you so much for this excellent update, I have not had much time to test the Sperry 177 but I have noticed a small bug regarding the Stab Trim Out light, when swithing the Test Lights Switch, all the lights illuminate as they should but the Stab Trim Out light barely illuminates, in version 1.26 was fine, can someone confirm this?

Did some further testing and the Delta Pax livery worked for me also. Looks like the issue is only with the cargo models. It recongizes most of the texture, but not the doors. :(
