RC Slows with ASE DWC Mode - Probable Fix

Do I have to purchase the full copy of FSUIPC to get rid of the "slows"? I hope not. I am using DWC and the "slows" are driving me nuts. I am landing with no handoff to the tower from RC4.
Sorry, I've no idea what "the slows" are. If you simply mean that your system isn't performing there's nothing FSUIPC can do about it. You have to find out why your system is clogging up.Pete

I'm confused(a frequent occurance). But I've only just come across this topic.Peter, the slows have been a feature of this thread haven't they? The first poster raised this.Lately I've been getting very slow responses from RC4 on in the landing phase..Like after I have landed!Seems others have too.I put it down to loading masses of AI from World of AI. although I've deleted all the corresponding airlines in UT to avoid possible conflict.I use FS9 and have the registered FSUIPC 3.99 which is dated 4/11.Shoud I have 3.998?I do have ASEI didn't have the slows prior to using the newly installed AI.

Sorry, I didn't re-read from the beginning, only the last couple of posts for context. And that wasn't a context.I'm afraid I've never experienced any such "slows", so I still don't know what they really are. I guess JD would need to examine the logs to find out what is going on.

I'm using 100% UT2 traffic plus 60% MTX traffic, with the only limit being UT2 set to reduce its share if the frame rate goes below 25 or 20 (don't recall which now).

FS9!!??? You get poor performance with FS9?? That's incredible! I'm using FSX where such problems might be expected.3.998g is better than 3.99 but it makes no difference to RC or AI.Perhaps your problem is letting FS9 have too much -- set the frame rate limiter to something lower, like 25 or 30. If you are getting runaway frame rates, as I'd expect with FS9 on current hardware, it won't let other things get much of a look in.RegardsPete

Thanks Peter. All noted.I get decent performance from FS.And I limit frame rates to 25.It's just the late landing clearances I now get from RC4 which confused me.And it's only happened since I installed all the new AII'll ponder on it over a glass of Titanic tonight.
