Train specific words in MS Speech ?

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan,I've made some hardware changes over the holidays and I'm having some very, very, small issues getting things perfect again. (detection things like "check" vs. "checked" & "On" vs. "Auto")I've trained many sessions in MS Speech, but I just can't get it to perform perfectly like it did on my old machine. I seem to remember a post (here or elsewhere) that described the process of opening a text document in MS Word and typing specific words, then training MS Speech to recognize them. Did I remember that right, or am I just confused? I've been reading and searching to no avail. Any help appreciated, and thanks again for some of the greatest FS addons ever.Sincerely,Greg D.

Hi Greg,I recall the post you mentioned. I'll try locating the thread as well.Cheers,
I'd be interested in this as well as my machine can hardly understand some few but crucial words/commands like the number '2', making heading changes to anything including a 2 a real headache...phil

Hi Phil,You can practice by simply opening the FS2Crew main panel. Then say '2' in different ways until the green bar recognizes it.It's probably just an accent issue.Best,
