January 31, 201115 yr This is my favorite aircraft for Fs2004. Is there a version of this aircraft for FSX? If so where can I get it? Thanks jerrycwo4
January 31, 201115 yr No, there isn't an FSX native version of that aircraft, but you could try these instructions: http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a82/how-do-i-import-the-1900c-and-1900d-into-flight-simulator-x.aspx. Good luck! :( With kind regards, Kevin Schepers
February 1, 201115 yr Jerry, thanks for asking this question, and Apache thanks for the answer because I never though you could do this. Awesome!:( Johnny Rosario
February 2, 201115 yr Author I'm assuming by what you said that you have successfully transfered this aircraft to FSX. I will defiantly try it. I did find a so-so FREE B-1900 here on Avsim that was pretty good for a freebie but it could not match the quality of the PMDG Express B 1900. jerrycwo4
February 2, 201115 yr I would also suggest an AVsim library search for 'fsx_pmfg_b1900_prop' by Chuck Lawson - this will get the corrected texture for the prop.bmp in fsx so that it is not an almost opaque disk. Also it adds a couple of views.Fly's absolutely wonderfully I might add as well under both platforms.John Ellison
February 2, 201115 yr Thanks John, I did noticed the transparent glass looking spinning props too. By the way, it's just me, but I couldn't take the rapid strobes and beacon. Since PMDG is not making an FSX version of the B1900, I took the liberty to borrow the J4100 [Lights] configuration, using its gauge and effect files, and it is perfect now. The size and speed of the blinking is just right on the B1900 now. But of course, I did this for myself, would not recommend anyone to take my advise as an official fix, as I don't work for PMDG. I take no responsibility for any problems you might encounter, and if you do, I suggest make copies of your B1900 settings. Enough said, heading back to flying! Johnny Rosario

February 5, 201115 yr All I did was go into my Express B1900D aircraft.cfg file, went down to the [LIGHTS] section and used some of the J4100 configuration, just like you see below.[LIGHTS]//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 5=landing 9=logolight.0 = 3, -22.902, -27.500, 1.500, fx_PMDG_J41_navred , //Nav Leftlight.1 = 3, -22.702, -27.250, 1.472, fx_PMDG_J41_navred , //Nav Leftlight.2 = 3, -22.902, 27.500, 1.500, fx_PMDG_J41_navgreen , //Nav Rightlight.3 = 3, -22.702, 27.250, 1.472, fx_PMDG_J41_navgreen , //Nav Rightlight.4 = 1, -28.900, 0.000, -1.800, fx_PMDG_J41_beacon, //Beacon Bottom//light.5 = 1, -28.900, 0.000, -1.800, fx_PMDG_J41_navwhite, //Beacon Bottomlight.6 = 2, -24.495, -28.850, 2.000, fx_PMDG_J41_strobe , //Strobe Leftlight.7 = 2, -24.495, 28.850, 2.000, fx_PMDG_J41_strobe , //Strobe Rightlight.8 = 7, -56.750, 0.000, 10.648, fx_PMDG_J41_navwhite , //Position Rear//light.9 = 1, -52.750, 0.000, 10.800, fx_PMDG_J41_navwhite , //Beacon Rear Toplight.10 = 1, -52.750, 0.000, 10.800, fx_PMDG_J41_beacon, //Beacon Rear Toplight.11 = 9, -54.000, -2.500, 6.648, fx_pmdglogo1900, //Logo Light Taillight.12 = 9, -54.000, 2.500, 6.648, fx_pmdglogo1900, //Logo Light Taillight.13 = 7, -22.500, -27.000, 1.485, fx_PMDG_J41_navwhite, //Nav White Leftlight.14 = 7, -22.500, 27.000, 1.485, fx_PMDG_J41_navwhite, //Nav White Rightlight.15 = 8, -18.902, -18.500, 1.500, fx_pmdglogo1900, //Wing Leftlight.16 = 8, -18.902, 18.500, 1.500, fx_pmdglogo1900, //Wing Right Johnny Rosario

March 7, 201115 yr I had a VERY difficult time finding above prop texture file on the AVSIM library. To find it, search for: chuck lawsenWith this correct spelling, you will find the file: fsx_pmdg_b1900_prop.zipEven with the correct file name, I can not find it by searching for that file name. Use the author's name with correct spelling. It also includes thumbnails for the FSX aircraft selection page, along with the 3 new views: Right Wing, Left Wing, and Tail. Also - I can confirm that the PMDG B1900D does work properly in FSX by following the referenced instructions. The only problem I have is one gauge that does not show up properly; instead it appears to be reflecting the sky.Actually, I have no idea if a gauge is really missing, but it does appear so.
March 7, 201115 yr I can never find things the way you think you should on avsim, specially now with the new search mode. I used to be able to search all with my name and all my repaints would show up. Now it doesn't . I try uploading my J41 repaint too, and it never showed up. I eventually had to upload it oat flightsim.com, and there it is. Johnny Rosario
