February 4, 201115 yr Hi guys, while checking the newest files from the library I saw some paints for the Project Fokker 70/100 and now I´m questioning whether their nice Fokker 28 is also compatilble with FSX as the Fokker 70/100 seems to be. Has someone tried a portover and can tell me whether it´s working or not? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

Has someone tried a portover and can tell me whether it´s working or not?I just checked the Fokker 28 on my FSX setup - the aircraft themselves appear to display properly. But the common panel the 28 uses has many old gauges - some of which FSX does not support at all - so you would have to find a FSX compatible panel or alias the panel to something you already have.Hope that helps.

February 6, 201115 yr Hi,As David (Opa) says, the main problem of using the FS9 PF-F28 in FSX is the panel (i.e. a lot of the gauges). The model and FDE works perfect in FSX (including things like independant taxi&landinglights). The good news is, that I've allready modified a lot of the XML gauges in the package (that required quite some modifications due to nasty FS9-FSX incompatibilities in XML).And the old-style (incompatible) other gauges are being replaced with FSX-compatible ones.In short: in nothing comes in between, you can expect an FSX-compatible version soon.Still without VC though for the time being, since the original model code (required to add a VC) appears to be lost.Cheers, Rob Barendregt
February 6, 201115 yr One of the development team members once posted of the announcement of a new PF28 for FSX back in September, but haven't heard of 'em since then. Dave.
