Hi guys this strange one just happeend recently when i click the fly option in the fsx screen sometimes its pauses and i get the mouse arrow turn into a rotating cicle, then it either starts fsx or shuts down to desktop aftet a short delay. Than sometime the fsx box after selecting an option will fade to a different color like a whitish backdrop and sit there thinking than it will retun to the option i have selected. Maybe the problem with the uiautomationcore.dll.

If it started right after you installed a new addon or addons the first thing to do would be to remove any addons you just installed and see if it stops.

thx for that yea i diable my last addon and than had no troubles yet but will keep flying with it disabled until iam sure its the cause of it b4 i will try to fix the problem thx

I had the menu problem where it was recommended that I us a certain version of the uiautomation.dll. This never solved my issues. Not sure where to turn now. I did do a complete install and the problem occured with a default setup. Some have said to back out some of your 3rd party addons, but again I have the issue with a default sp2 install.Bob
