I am currently in the process of building a new system for FSX and X-Plane. Right now I can't decide what video card to go with. Of course my end goal is highest quality graphics I can get. Out of that set, I would pick the GTX560.. Nvidia has been pretty solid, and the 560 is their current"best bang for the buck" card.ATI fans may disagree.. :unsure:

I agree, the best in your list is the GTX560. I installed one a week ago in my system and it works extremely well with FSX.

I know I am going to sound dumb; but I cannot tell you exactly. I am an x-plane macbook user currently. I am having this computer built for purposes of x-plane and now I am interested in FSX since I can finally have it (always been a mac user). I can just tell you I want something that is going to look great with add-ons like REX, PMDG products and sceneries.

I am basically looking for something that will give me similar performance to the above.

I think I am going to go with the 570GTX graphics card the more I thought about it.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the 570 :smile: In addition to running FSX very well, it will do a better job of heating your office than the 560..

The 580 is just a stretch right now; I wasn't even originally going to go with the 570 but talked myself into it. The 570 is just one step from the 580 right?
