February 17, 201115 yr I have not had any issues with altitudes so far, I use real world routes for flight planning, if people are having issues from what I have read in the manual in the sid/stars page you can set the FAF for any airport. Also from what I understand on how it manually calculates your arrival is it takes the altitude of your last way-point of your FP subtracts your airport elevation then divides that in half (does the same for departures), so if your final waypoint is way out there away from the airport your altitude is probably going to be quite high so then you will get a very high approach. If my final waypoint is out aways it usually because its a transition point of a STAR in which case I will have it marked in my FP, so then I will be cleared for the old "sierra tango"
