Wilco does not realize yet that Airbus series by Eric M. under Win7 64-bit is a liability. The only one simple test will reveal the following: put Cold & Dark Airbus plane anywhere in the world, pull up Task Manager and check out the Mem Usage counter (FS9.EXE *32 process). It won't stop until cold&dark Airbus gorges on all the RAM available in your system and eventually CTD. Will take about an hour+ with 4Gb of RAM installed. iFly for example takes up less than 650Mb before the counter stops, most complex addon don't take more than 700Mb. To some reason Eric doesn't want to hear. I'm very much sceptical, that it can make better than that in FSX under a 64-bit OS, I'm not even interested to test it.Cheers,Dirk.

Strange one that Dirk. I've had no memory prob's under W7 x64. Have even done >8hour flights from JFK-LCY with the 318.

The Evolution update adds NOTHING more to the aircraft other than WX radar and HUD, if you already own Eric Marcianos update. Check the announcement on his website front page-
Indeed. So if you are waiting for working descent calculations, you will be disappointed. Bryn.

How can you say this when the product hasn't been released yet?

Clum, for the sake of experiment I installed A320 fresh in W7 x64 (fs9) again and checked the counter in the hope to see a different result on the 100th time which was quite stupid of me, of course. The counter never stopped. Airbus is the ONLY aircraft that has this weird problem. I'm on multiple boot, so I have the same under WinXPx64. I have only 4Gb RAM though. You can easily check your Memory usage and see the result on your rig. Just to make sure we're on the same page: it needs to be fs9 under w7x64. Leave it cold and dark, pull up Task Manager and see where your Memory usage of FS9.exe process will settle (which may not at all till CTD or maybe above 3Gb+). I'm really curious about this and I need A320 back to my fleet.Cheers,Dirk.

Because i have the marciano upgrade; because eric said on his site there will be no differences in the evolution upgrade; and because the descent calculations are still buggy in the marciano upgrade. Caveat emptor.
