February 17, 201115 yr I am trying to install 2 graphics card into my pc. I have a geforce 8800 gt and a geforce 6600 gt. But windows only sees the 8800. Not even in the hardware devices i can see it. I use windows 64-bit.Any idea? Could it be my bios not supporting it? PS: I'm not trying to make any wide-display, just simple 4 seperate displays (for cockpit building use) // Jesper Giørtz-Behrens ------------ Graphics artist for Prosim737 panels
February 17, 201115 yr What happens if you remove the recognized card? Does the other one show then? Perhaps the pci-slot is damaged? Bjorn "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
February 17, 201115 yr If you have up to date drivers then they probably won't support the 6600gt as it's so old. Try rolling them back to a driver that does support it. February 18, 201115 yr Two card have to be indentical and in SLI to show, if using two different card the first one should be in the first PCI-e slot and the next one on the third or fifth PCI-e slot, since they are not the same you can't use them in SLI.I have two different card in my rig but one is for Physx as they can't be use in SLI.Hope this help.
