February 18, 201115 yr HelloooA few hours of work: New textures for some of the vehicles in AES so they fit better when I fly in Scandinavia .....and finally: AES at Scansim Copenhagen Kastrup :(
February 18, 201115 yr How nice is that! :( .... I know it seems trivial but to have the GSU's in the correct liveries is like the icing on the cake. Bravo Niclas! :( My FS Videos

There is only one small catch: I have to manually switch between three different texture folders in AES depending where I fly. For example if I fly from LEPA to EKCH I don´t want the SAS pushback truck. I hope I can find some type of interface so I can just press a button to switch between the textures. Maybe you Ed have a solution? Cheers
February 19, 201115 yr The new AES Oliver is working on may have features like that.http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=42888How is that EKCH Niclas? Worth the money? From the product page it looks just average, nothing like a Sim-Wings/Fly Tampa type product. Al Stiff

From the product page it looks just average, nothing like a Sim-Wings/Fly Tampa type product.Perfect! ..Now I'm really looking forward to the new version of AES :( The new EKCH have not the high standard as German Airports, Sim-wings and Flytampa. But compared with the old one from Swedflight it´s much much better. The new EKCH covers nearly all areas at the airport compared to the old one from Swedflight, and it´s far more detailed. The only bad thing is the building textures, they are not as sharp. But performance is veeery good, almost no fps impact at all. I really like EKCH by Scansim, especially now when it has AES support. Worth the money: In my opinion YES :(
February 19, 201115 yr I was hoping you would say no Niclas.....my wallet can use a break! :( Al Stiff

I have to switch textures manually myself but it looks like AES NG will take care of this.... amongst many other things. :( ....one last thing ...shadows for your GSU's perhaps? :( My FS Videos

Hello Ed..then we have to wait for the new AES :( In the meantime I'll do as you, switch manually. I have now two texture folders, one for SAS GSU´s and with the standard textures and I switch between them in flight if necessary. I use my laptop to do that so I dont´t have to pause FS...very smooth if I do say so myself . That laptop is used for Radar contact and ASV6.5 via WideFs.Shadows is really needed .. it looks like the GSU´s are floating above the ground
February 20, 201115 yr Shadows is really needed .. it looks like the GSU´s are floating above the ground I am sure you know this already but in case you don't...if you select "ground scenery casts shadows" in your FS display options your AES GSU's will cast shadows. :( My FS Videos

It was long ago I changed the settings in FS, so thanks for the tip Edna :(
