February 20, 201115 yr For all those who like to know what your PC is doing whilst you are flying I just came across this piece of freeware Performance Monitor .This way you can see the performance and load of each core in a multi-core system along with Disc read/write usage and RAM. Mike Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory!

MikeNice! But for my use, I find that the combination of Windows Task Manager and Procmon gives me more detail and easier to interpret data.. Bert

February 20, 201115 yr MikeThere is a very powerful Performance Monitor already built into Vista and Win 7 plus the best monitoring apps are made by 'Sysyinternals' now a division of MS: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb842062and for the ultimate too there is 'XPERF' from the Windows Performance Kit. :( RegardsPeterH
