I've posted a few moans on here before about the new VOXATC, and have to do it again. I just cant understand whats going wrong.I used 5.63 (and previous revisions) without too many issues, but dont think i have had a good flight yet. Its gotten so bad that i hadnt bothered getting on the flight sim for a few weeks because i was feeling so frustrated at it crashing randomly, but tonight thought i would have another go. Most of the flight was OK, but what seems to happen almost every flight now is that i get very little radio contact from my arrival airport, and they are very often late contacting me, leaving it almost impossible to meet their instructions to land or they begin vectoring me then just go quiet, until like tonight i ended up 40 miles the other side of EGNT. I then thought i would invoke contact with VOX by pressing 0, and selecting full ILS, the controller responded and i continued my approach but was amazed when i saw what appeared in the screenshots below taken from FS Commander. I mean what the hell is VOX doing??(and no the traffic is not set high, and i am usually lucky to see 4 or 5 other A/C in the sky with me).Its driving me nuts. I realise its working OK for some other people, but its gone from being OK at 5.63, to broke, even after several re-installs.For clarification if you dont know FSC, i am the blue plane on the ILS rwy 25 about 6DME out, and the big mass of yellow to the north and south is VOX generated traffic (like a swarm of bees). I havent seen this before, but its just yet another wasted evening thanks to VOX :(

I just recently had this problem too, and I'm on 5.63. Has this issue been fixed in Version 6? My FSX AI Traffic was at 0. Vox Traffic was at 40%. I'm using WOAI. I have a screenshot below.

I have this problem too, no traffic in the air but at departure and arrival airports much too much traffic... Completely unrelated to the airport's size.It would be nice if we could find a fix...

I take back my last comment.I just flew the tutorial flight and it went perfectly.I reduced my traffic slider (in VoxATC) to 50% before flying, perhaps this is why it worked?The other planes were spread evenly around the airport and in the air.ATC worked flawlessly throughout the whole flight, selecting an appropriate ILS approach and arrival for me.The cherry on top was being directed to a parking space, after landing, that was really cool.

I wish I knew what went wrong on mine. I didn't take off from the airport in Billings, MT (KBIL), but rather I flew to it from a small airport about 60nm to the west. It's almost as if VoxATC took every single flight that would've happened that day and put it up in the air. I don't know if those planes were taking off or landing. Maybe 40% was too much? And I'm not using any add-on scenery. This was just plain FSX. I've tried loading up a new flight based out of KBIL, and it looks okay with exception to the UPS Jumbo Jet that plops itself right on top of my parked Cessna once I start up Vox. Which version are you running, Toby?

No because I had it too on my first flight with VoxATC...Sorry to burst your bubble...

I sent three screenshots to Vox Support and asked some advice about the issue I had. I wasn't sure if there was something I needed to tweak or not. I haven't heard anything back from them yet.

In case anyone else is having this problem, I have contacted Tegwyn about it. He asked me for the FLT and PLN files in which this problem occurred, so he's going to check it out and see if anything can be done to avoid the "swarm of bees" syndrome. I'll let you know what I learn.

Cool. Despite my reservations of this program my favorite thing is the developer. He's always been helpful and friendly. I really do hope he continues to improve upon this. It's always more fun when you get a nifty product AND it's supported by a helpful and nice developer.

...... had the same issue with the traffic over Airport, in some cases I got duplicated Aircraft, I checked on the ground, and it's the same thing more then one Aircraft with the same Call sign, thought maybe it's UT2 issue Any this "thing" with handing you to the arrival airport controller, is really frustrating, give you no time to do things right .. I'm almost on the 45 and only then ATC wake up and responding with instruction ..... and what about clearing you through air spaces, for Avoxatc, they are not existing

That's where the co-pilot feature comes in handy, especially with jet aircraft. On props, I seem to have enough time to switch. Otherwise, I depend on the co-pilot to take care of that, because you're right.... I'm too busy trying to line up and get on the right glide slope to land correctly.
