February 28, 201115 yr Lately it's been hard to keep the JS41 in place. I follow the startup procedure to the T. After engines start, the aircraft tends to roll forward. It happens with the parking brake on or off with max braking applied. My condition levers are in taxi mode. I know last night when I flew it there was freezing rain, but I have had a few other flight where it was dry and this happened. Any suggestion or comments?Thank youBryan Bernatek Bryan Bernatek Commercial Instrument Single Engine and Multi-Engine CFI ASEL CoolerMaster 932, ASUS P8P67 Pro, Intel I5 2500k @ 4.7Ghz, WD 1TB 7200 SATA6, GeForce 8800 GTXOC, Corsair A70, Ultra 650W, 3x 24" Samsung monitor via a Triple Head2go. March 1, 201115 yr Author Even with lowering the torque settings didnt help. I should be able to stop the aircraft solely on brake pressure and not use beta, which is what is happening. The aircraft will sit still at idle, but when I increase the throttles to move the aircraft I cannot get the aircraft to slow down without using beta. March 1, 201115 yr I have encountered this on several turboprop ac's. My understanding is that it is a result of the fact that the FSX simulation of a turbo prop is horrible, so developers go around it. best solution, go into the config file for the J41 and crank up the effectiveness of the parking brake. While not fully realistic, I don't think that anybody is using the parking brake to make landings anyway, so knock yourself out. Branton Turner
March 5, 201115 yr When the aircraft starts hot, instead of cold and dark, your condition lever is on high. You need to either start cold and dark and set everthing correctly, or you will have to immediately set your parking breaks when you start hot and lower the condition levers to idle. At least that's what I do and I don't have her moving forward. Johnny Rosario
