March 1, 201115 yr Question for the RealAir gents:In your manual it says.."Crash and Collision Detect: OFF."Therefore in my FSX "SETTINGS REALISM" window I know that crashes and damange should be set to "Ignore crashes and damage".Slightly confused as to what setting the Crash Tolerance slider should be set on. Easy or Hard?Help! :( Lovely aeroplane thank you. Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. HoneyComb Throttle & Flight System. March 1, 201115 yr Author I have mine set on Easy, but quite frankly, I do not believe it matterswhen you have "Ignore crashes" set..That's what I am wondering. Am hoping the RealAir guys can give us a definitive answer. I've always left it on HARD in the past. Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. March 1, 201115 yr Why should be off? Both versions of the Duke will do a gear-up landing, with accompanying gouges in the runway, sparks and sounds. You can also land successfully, gear up, on water. To do this crash detect must be off. I don't think with it switched off the hard/easy option makes much difference. If you have crash detect on, which in my opinion is a pretty useless FSX option, it merely resets your aircraft after the default "crash" sound effects.Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page

If anyone notices any differences hopefully they'll post here. Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. HoneyComb Throttle & Flight System.
