March 9, 201115 yr i have installed facetrack noir.it worked for fsx and lockon, but it is very unstable, shaking always in fsx. i couldn't even turn the knobs.it seemed more effective in lockon but i can't find forward and backward settings, just left right up and down worked.i am still trying to find optimal settings for smooth tracking.but i can't find facetrack forums in web :S Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
March 9, 201115 yr I also have the Beech Duke B60 turbine and love it. I employ multiple monitors (3) and wonder if anyone has a suggestion about how to synchronize the monitors using one PC and also install TrackIR so that it will work with all the monitors?John Henderson John
March 9, 201115 yr This just my experience. TrackIR (4 or 5) is a useful product. However, I would NOT purchase their pro-clip - it's a piece of junk. The parts are not robust - mine came in broken inside the swivel piece. You couldn't tell until you actually tried to adjust it. The "manual" clip for hats works just fine. NOTE: I've had two pro clips - the first one broke where the clip attaches to your headphones. Most headphones today have pretty thick braces that connect the two ear pieces. This causes the clip to eventually malfunction.Just my opinion.BTW - be prepared to spend many hours trying to adjust the camera. It is held onto the base using a magnet. If you try to push it in any direction the magnet breaks loose. Trying to adjust the camera also causes the monitor clips to come loose - falling off of the monitor. I eventually had to permanently mount my camera to an aluminum (square) tube attached to a desk-mounted shaft. It's a lot of work.None of this is worth $200 (camera plus pro clip). Again, my opinion.fbPS I would kill for a functioning USB hat switch with robust construction that I could mount to my ACE yoke. Hat switches are MUCH easier to use and don't require constant "fiddling" to make it work.
March 9, 201115 yr FBassThanks for the info. I appreciate your input. I wondered about the pro clip and whether or not it would hold up when attached to a robust headphone/mic combo. I have several questions about the best way to set up my system - some of them not really germain to this thread. I think maybe it would be better if I asked them in a separate thread. Again, thanks very much for your responseJohn John
