D. Scoob-I don't normally take a position outside the PMDG forum, but in this case- I have to. It seems that your protests above are not entirely based in fact, so I hope you won't mind if I get you up to speed on the history of this problem....When we first began to suspect this problem was coming from FeelThere back in 2007, I reached out to Vic directly assuming that we would see FeelThere take ownership of the issue and resolve it for our mutual customers. I had his email at the time from one of a few conversations I'd had with him- yet I received no reply. I purchased your 737 and your Airbus and conducted tests in-house and was able to verify that the corruption came from those two installers and was reproducible. To be clear: Running either of these installers on an uncorrupted DLL.XML file would result in a corrupted DLL.XML because the CR and LF characters would be stripped out. It appeared to use that the file was being edited using a linux style editor, but it is hard to say precisely. I sent approximately ten email to your tech support address with information and requesting that someone reach out to me, and the only reply that I received was words to the effect that you "weren't going to support a competitor's product."At this point, since email to Vic and email to your support were not being answered, we began explaining to customers exactly what the problem was. Within a few weeks FeelThere reps were in our forum screaming like robbery victims that the problem was imaginary. I forwarded all of the data we collected to you guys- and what we heard back was words to the effect of "we use an industry standard method to edit the dll.xml and the problem couldn't possibly come from FeelThere." The answer ignores the obvious and reproducible results that when some users run these two product installers, they wind up with a corrupted file.Now- here's the part you probably won't like: YES- we deleted some threads on this topic. WE DID SO AT FEELTHERE'S REQUEST IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE POTENTIAL THAT CUSTOMERS WOULD GET ANGRY AT FEELTHERE. At the time, it was presumed that you guys were going to take ownership of the problem, but this obviously hasn't taken place.I think Ryan was quite fair in saying a ) it does not affect everyone and b ) it can be fixed. PMDG has answered more than 500 tickets on this topic since March of 2010. Every single one of these tickets was corrected by Ryan or Paul- and every single one of the corrupt DLL.XML files contained one of your older products. We'd love to see the issue resolved as it would be 500 fewer tickets that Ryan and Paul have to answer...We've given you all of the information you need to identify and resolve it...Good luck!

OK guys, time to close this thread.I don't agree that commercial members use this forum as an open tribune to settle their problems.
