hello alli try to install the fs9.1 exe file and as i opens i got error msg stating "this application has failed to start because MSVCP70.dll was not found.re-installing the application may fix this problem.now before doing this i did deleted the fs9.exe file which was cracked and installed so does not need cd to excute the sim.looking for help

Maybe it's looking for the original FS9.exe. Can you grab that from the CD's and put it back in the Flight Simulator 9 folder...then apply the 9.1 patch?Mark

MSVCP70.DLL is a file which should be in the Windows\System32 folder. Check to see if it is there. It may be missing or it may be corrupted.See if you can find it on one of your original FS9 installation CDs and copy it over to the appropriate folder. It may be in a .cab file which you can open by double clicking on it. Otherwise, either do a Google for MSVCP70.DLL and download the file from the Internet or else reinstall FS9.Hope this helps.David
