Tomorrow I'm heading out to the DMZ, highway 9, Khe Sanh, the Ho Chi Mingh trail and who knows? Charlie Sheen? :oThats it folks. Cya around.ps. I see that the NGX still hasn't been released. March 19, 201115 yr Author Your travels sound epic! Good luck, be safe, have fun, take lotsa pictures. Look for Singha. Great beer.Thanks. I've used my army salary on this trip. Tommorrow I'm going to Hanoi by train. When you get to Khe Sanh stop for a minute and look around maybe you can find my innocence I lost it there 43 years ago.I didn't search for your innocence (I first read the thread again now, after the trip.) But being at the actual Khe Sanh combat base was a very special experience. Since I know how much fighting took place there, and sadly also how many young men died there. Most, if not all in the tour group had never heard of it and just wandered around bored (after having seen the Bell 212 Huey, Chinook and a few tanks that is on display there). I was very moved to be there, and of course I went off track exploring the other side of the fence (I found a hole in it, hehe.) I walked along the intire landingstrip and went abit further around the area. Philip D. Schmidt Jensen - Denmark
