Thx Bert! The lil W-fix I read about but was never able to implement. Can you review it again for me? This is something I really missed from FS9.
The Wfix gauge is an xml document with this content (text file, use Notepad)
<SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="1,0" id="wfix"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <Filename>wfix.xml</Filename> <SimGauge.Gauge id="Gauge"> <KeyMap id="KeyMap"> <Trigger id="Trigger"> <KeyboardKey>W</KeyboardKey> <script> 19999 (>K:PANEL_ID_OPEN) 1 (>K:NEXT_SUB_VIEW) 1 (>K:PREV_SUB_VIEW) </Script> </Trigger> </KeyMap> </SimGauge.Gauge></SimBase.Document>

In the airplane:[Window Titles]Window00=Main PanelWindow01=GNSWindow02=MinipanelWindow03=Blank for W-fix...[Window02]position=7size_mm=631,100child_3d=1background_color=0,0,0window_size= 0.6419, 0.1523 no_luminous=1ident=MINIPANELgauge00=RXPFLT!KI525, 300,0,98,98gauge01=RXPFLT!Airspeed, 0,0,98,98gauge02=RXPFLT!KI256, 200,0,98,98gauge03=RXPFLT!Altimeter, 400,0,98,98gauge04=RXPFLT!TurnCoordinator, 100,0,98,98gauge05=RXPFLT!VerticalSpeed, 500,0,98,98gauge06=MyGauges!Wfix,0,0[Window03]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=1,1position=0visible=0ident=19999I just add a subfolder to my Gauges folder and call it MyGauges. The Wfix.xml file goes into that folder. Now , when you select the outside view, you cycle through the Main Panel, Mini Panel, and unobstructed viewby using the W key.BTW.. If you do not have the FLT gauges, substitute the C172 or Baron equivalents.
