April 8, 201115 yr I'd like to add the very highest end in this twin engine class, w/ or w/o turbine. I'm mostly interested in VC quality modeling, flight characteristics, exterior modeling, in that order. Thanks in advance for your opinions! April 8, 201115 yr VC quality modeling, flight characteristics, exterior modeling You can't beat the Dukes there, not with the older DA Cheyenne. But she stills stays a fine release and gets flown although I own both competitors.Voted for the Turbine Duke when looking at your preferences. Enjoy her!
April 8, 201115 yr Well, I bought both Dukes I don´t regret it. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
April 8, 201115 yr RealAir B60 or Turbine,You can't go wrong. The new Turbine is great for short field takeoff/landings. I've been wearing out my prop-reverse Flying her in Orbx PNW.Carenado Cessna 340II is a nice bird in this class aswell. Check it out here......http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php?accion=product&correl=55But for my $$$ Nothing beats The RealAir Duke Duo!! 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
April 8, 201115 yr I like the Duke . Another is the Milviz 310, engine out procedures are a little more challenging.

April 9, 201115 yr Commercial Member My faves are Turbine Duke, DA Cheyenne, and Piston Duke, in that order. You can't beat RealAir for modeling, systems, or flight dynamics, but that DA Cheyenne has given me a lot of fun over the years, too. It's still one of my favorite VCs ever. Tough decision... :( Bill Womack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visit my FS Blog or follow me on Twitter (username: bwomack). April 9, 201115 yr Between the DA Cheyenne and the Duke D60 for me the Cheyenne has the most character. Fly it quite often. Boudewijn Swanenburg

Fly it quite often.I've voted for the Duke Turbine but I agree that the Cheyenne has more character than the Duke. However I think the systems and engine modelling on the RealAir Simulations aircraft is alot more realistic.Adam Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. It would be best for folks to vote if they've had all three :Batting Eyelashes:NoelI have all 3, and they are all a pleasure to fly. I like the appearance of the DA Cheyenne panel, but find it a bit harder to move around from the AP altitude select to the general AP panel. If you have TrackIR, this is a non-issue. I get decent fps in all 3 models, but the DA Cheyenne is slightly harder on frame rates on my mid-level system. Both RA models have panels that are less complex than the Cheyenne, but the gauges are absolutely smooth. The Turbine Duke has click spots for all the common sub-panels that make it easier to do complex IFR approaches.I have to favor the Dukes for realistic handling because you can actually cross control and do a "slip" to reduce altitude. On the outside, I like the appearance of the Cheyenne best. This is completely subjective, I can't point out any flaws in the Dukes, but the DA models just seem to have a good balance of detail and texture with the correct shape.Dale Dale
April 9, 201115 yr Author Thanks folks. I picked up the Turbine Duke and so far, it's a honey :( May look at the Cheyenne later, but for now this'l do.One quick question if you will. I like to be able to see the unstructed forward view outside by a button press. With all my other birds I usually hit a button on my yoke, then hit shift-a number to lose the associated 2D panel and free up the outside forward view. With the Duke Turbine I see 'Cockpit' view is pretty much what I am looking for, however there is an obstructive panel that shows up describing how to get back to the VC, and I'd like to be free of that. Any ideas? Thanks a lot for helping direct me towards the Turbine Duke I think I'm going to love it!Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. The lil W-fix I read about but was never able to implement. Can you review it again for me? This is something I really missed from FS9.
