Byork, I've been enjoying your voice edition immensely for some time now, but there's one area I'm uncertain about. In both the 'taxi check' and 'descent approach check', there is the altimeters to be stated verbally before the FO continues. I understand it to be where I should answer as "2992 checked" or something similar. The FO does not continue after my callout, and he will not unless I state "next". Am I doing something incorrectly here, or what would you recommend I say for the FO to quickly acknowledge my altimeter check?

That one can be tricky to get right but try to make a short pause like 1 sec between the setting and checked, that usually works for me.

That's correct.You need to pause a second or so... the speech recognition system is looking for the trigger phrase 'checked'.It needs to be set distinctly and separately from 2992, etc.Cheers,
