Running 2 aircraft?

Featured Replies

Is there a way to set up a flight in FSX (selecting aircraft, start, destination) and have that flight run automatically while you take off in another aircraft and follow the first one? I'm doing a Lockheed EAL Constellation flight from Burbank to Miami and thought it would be cool to have 2 Eastern Connies brand new from Lockheed headquarters flying to Easterns headquarters (new aircraft delivery).

You could try AI flight planner, its free and you can select any aircraft (even the ones you fly) to make a flight plan. It is pretty fun making your own flight plans.

Thanks,

Thanks I'll look into that tomorrow on my day off.

Or you can try out FSRecorder. You can use it to record your flights and then play them back. So if you want you can fly the first flight and record it, and then while your replaying it you can start another flight. Its pretty cool stuff, and its free. Here's the website.

As Greg says FSRecorder is what you want.It will do exactly what you require although it will involve reading the manual to understand how it works.

Burbank to Miami? That sounds more like something for a flightplan to handle. That long a recording might be too much for FSRecorderX, though you could certainly do it in sections. If you have the SDK installed, you can assign any aircraft to fly any flightplan you create - no add-on required.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
