Hi!Fly the chain :) ....start at Sand Point (PASD) or Cold Bay (PACD) or even out at Adak, and fly into Dutch, then in/or out to other Aleutian airports...then/or home to PANC. Get real weather reports then manually load in visibilities to simulate overcast (FS can't do it on its own), and ceilings...then have fun!P.S. I have Aersoft's Dutch X, and it's wonderful, especially if you've ever been there--really captures it!BillKGSPAuthor, DVD, "Electra! Queen of the Aleutian Islands, www.flyelectra.com

Only basic stock scenery...I've developed some "instant scenery" for these locations, which mimic the bases...but these are tiny destinations in hard-to-reach places, so there are no gates or sophisticated buildings there, even in the real world :)Bill

Thanks for your idea. So, ASE, will automatically create zero-visibility conditions while you are in a thick cloud deck? That's the condition in the Aleutians, but I find that REX, for example, keeps a 10 mile visibility while flying through clouds--but one can still see around and down--hence no real simulation of overcast. In order to overcome that, I manually adjust "in-cloud visibilities" to near zero while in the cloud deck...is that an option for how ASE would work? Would love to see how to set that up automatically!ThanksBill
