737-800 Version Number

Featured Replies

Hi,I am reinstalling my PMDG 737NG aircraft after a hard drive crash. I installed the 600/700 aircraft and they are at version 1.3, and I installed the 800/900 aircraft. I just ran the 737_800_900_Service_Update_1 patch, which should bring the 737-800/900 series to version 1.1. However, after running the update, the aircraft.cfg still shows version 1.0. How can I tell if the 800/900 aircraft have actually been updated to version 1.1?Thanks,

That is a good place to check, be sure to run the installers with admin rights to bypass the nanny security that prevents modifying existing files.

Dan,I did some additional pokiing around and it looks like on the 800 then panel.cfg file has the updated comment rather than the aircraft.cg. DIdn't see any updated comments in any of cfg files for the 900. The plane flies, so I am hoping that I am all good. Thanks,

The 800/900 use the same panel. Note in the 900 panel.cfg that it is aliased to the 800 panel.cfg. My version (installed with service packs from Aerosoft.com after installing CD verrsions) is Version 1.00 Build 30.
