April 16, 201115 yr HEY!, thanks for stopping,i have a small problem with FSX. These are my PC configs: Intel Core I7 975EX, 6 Go of DDR3 Dominator, Asus P6T Deluxe V2, HDD of 1To, SSD of 120Go, a SLI of two GTX 560 Ti.I'm playing on a Full HD screen, all set on maximum details, and i am only geting a 10fps at MEGA Charles de Gaules Paris airport add on from aerosoft, with a 767 from captain sim. This is kind of getting frustrating as we all know the price of this computer, and what i should get from this computer. Can you please help me to use my set at his best performance, maximise the utility of my two GTX 560 Ti and my Processor, which all 3 are as we know excellent!!, but also help meconfigure my FSX, as i really do not know much about it. Thank you very much for your help :) have a nice day or evening! PS: i'm on windows 7 64 bts
April 16, 201115 yr Overclock that "extreme" pc to 4+ GHz and then you'll be ok.Oh, but don't put all sliders at max... and run with DX9. Make sure bloom, self shadowing is off. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Thank you very much for your help :) have a nice day or evening! PS: i'm on windows 7 64 bts My experiences with Aerosoft scenery is that it is CPU/GPU intensive especially with maximum details. They do a great job with scenery but you have to understand it takes a lot of computing power for it to run on any system as it has a lot of eye-candy. Throw in your CS767, maximum details (assuming that means sliders to the right), and maybe some weather and night time scenery, and you are begging for fsx issues. I think you are fortunate to be getting 10fps!Check out NickN's Setting up FSX and Tuning It to set up your system and that will put you in the right direction for configuring FSX - http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic29041.html. April 18, 201115 yr I have the same issue as you do, I have a very powerful PC with low FPS when settings the detail(s) to high.it appears that the FSX hardly utilizes the GPU and relies almost only on the CPU and the CPU today are still not enoughto handle the complexity of the FSX and graphics at the same time. With me I see the most performance hit with my PMDG747 and Aerosoft's Airports + UT2 +REX and I drop many times to as low at 12fps and that is after I loweredmy details settings in FSX and running FSXBooster (Xtreme FSX PC by FSPS)as for running FSX on DX9 or DX10, I noticed that when I run FSX on DX10 I get about 30% more fps and better performance then DX9, so I recommend running it on DX10(i have a feeling when it is set for DX10, FSX utilize the GPU more/better then with DX9, but I am not sure that its true).my Specs are: Intel Xeon X5670 6 core (Westmere-EP, 32nm) at 4.2Gh HT disabled in BIOS, 3x2GB of DDR3 OCZ - 6GB (triple-channel), Asus P6T Deluxe , 2x146GB 15.1K RPM SAS Drives at "RAID 0", GTX 295.Windows 7 Enterprise x64 w/SP1 Joel Strikovsky
