April 23, 201115 yr i have posted this earlier but later noticed that it was in the wrong forum so i hope this is the proper forum for this.i have upgraded to a new sytem from pentium 4 to core i7; a totally new system, including the case.my problem is, after installing everything, i became muted.i can hear everything, the ai traffic, other pilots, etc. but my atc window is blank when i am supposed to speak and there are no voices supposed to be coming from me.for example:atc window displays 1] request clearance; so i press 1 to request clearance. then, i get an empty atc window and no voice (although all other sounds continue. after a while, the ATC responds appropriately to my request and the ATC window displays the words it is speaking. the ATC window displays all other conversations except mine.any solution to this?i did not have this problem with my pentium 4 cpu, is it related?thanks.

April 23, 201115 yr Check battery, Alternator, Avionics switch, engines running?Good suggestion, but if that was the case, he wouldn't hear AI or the controllers. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
April 24, 201115 yr I can't tell if you did re-installed fs9 from the CD, or copied the files from another computer. However, try going to the Sound folder in fs9 root directory, and replace both the *.gvp files. You will have to copy them from the fs9 CD. Both are located on Disk 2, one is in MSGAME4.CAB the other MSGAME5.CAB.KJ
April 25, 201115 yr Oh gee thank you so much. I now have my speech back. Just the pilot voice assignment, it changed to null after installing some add-ons. Wonder why it did that. Thanks again for all the response.
