May 26, 201115 yr Moderator n4gix, you don't need to restart FSX whenever you want to see a scenery change, just open the scenery library window and click OK and it will reload the scenery just like AS' "reload scenery" button does. Still have to wait for the reload though and that's still a bit annoyingSometimes that works, sometimes it does not. What I actually was asking though was if there was someone who could confirm this statement in Post #1 above:When using ADE, it gives ADE the single most important feature ADE lacked - a quick preview of the airport in FSX. Now you can load the same airport into ADE and Airport studio, and when you save, airport studio automatically loads the changes and displays them in FSX.If this actually does work, the the modest cost of AS would be both a reasonable and extremely useful investment. :( I many just buy it anyway as a show of support and encouragement for the developer... :( Fr. May 26, 201115 yr Commercial Member Oh that's interesting. Reading earlier posts I was under the impression that moving buildings was possible. If this is not the case then that puts me off. It would have been nice to position buildings on a photoreal ground image also exported from sbuilderx.I will just have to stick to using sketchup to accurately position my models.TomI spoke with the developer and he is considering adding this feature in the future. May 27, 201115 yr Sometimes that works, sometimes it does not.Really? I can't say I've ever seen it not work... whenever I recompile the BGL in ADE I just open and close the scenery library to reload the changes. Drew Sikora Staff Blog Founder/Designer, MSE Airports
