May 23, 201115 yr The reflection is overboard, anyone know how to tone it down a little? Thanks, Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
May 23, 201115 yr Personally I use REX to do that, but there are plenty of other products about that will do it, including many freebie ones in the Avsim file library, for example, there is this one:alternate_1x_daytime_water_environment.zipBut if you simply do a search on 'water' in the FSX section of Avsim's file library, you will find tons of them.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
May 23, 201115 yr You could try playing around with this http://www.strikingsoftware.com/fswc.shtml (it's free) until you find a setting that pleases you. Especially helpful for toning down the reflective sun glint.John
May 23, 201115 yr Author Thanks guys, awesome site (striking software) BTW, never heard of it. Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
May 23, 201115 yr Author Uh oh, I installed FSWC and this happened to my water. Out the left window of the second shot is supposed to be Lake Michigan. Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
May 23, 201115 yr I don' know but there is a selection in the menu for fsx default. Just select the default and apply. Surely it would revert to the normal.I just started using FSWC two days ago and am having amazing success in combo with my REX 2.0, it is wonderful. May 23, 201115 yr Author I figured it out, I had to uninstall boyotes shader mod. That was the only thing I could, I tried everything else, oh well, his mod was for ATI cards anyway as I recall. Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
