May 28, 201115 yr I know how to program the fmc for a flight but not a circuit, any tutorials on that? Joe Barton
May 28, 201115 yr If I may suggest a great "introduction" book to get. Mike Ray's has a great book that helps learn the basics of creating, imputing and flying FMC flights for Boeing aircraft. http://www.utem.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4 This is the book that really got me into understanding the FMC/CDU/MCP functions. Much like Rod Machado, he teaches with humor which makes for a enjoyable read. Worth a look in my opinion. :( Once you have the grasp of the FMC, the PMDG manuals will further help in the in-depth science of this intricate piece of navigation technology.@Joe,As far as I know, A typical circuit can be achieved by inputing a DEP, FIX, and ARR (same as DEP arpt) I believe that is the minimum criteria for creating a flight plan via the FMC "To most the sky is the limit but to me it's home" Rick Harms (CYVR) i7 [email protected] (for now) asus p6t v2, 6gb ocz 1600 CL7 ram.
