May 26, 201115 yr How do you program the FMC in a Boeing FMC?I have never been able to do this myself (I did not give it that much time)But i figured that someone in heare could help, lets say you want to fly a circuit in KSEA? Anders Weber ATPL(A) Student EKBI - Billund, Denmark
May 26, 201115 yr It's not as difficult as you might think, i'd be glad to help you out buddy ;)Just add me on skype or MSN, will PM you the details, add me if you are interested ;)Aykut Kara A. O. Kara "It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill."

May 26, 201115 yr I believe hes trying to do it over some sort of voice communication software. Programming an FMC is not difficult to do by any means, but If you have questions you can only refer back to this thread. Explaining how to program an FMC would take a little while as an FMC is complex and very advanced. My suggestion is try to find something maybe on youtube that can give you a full in depth tutorial also showing you what to do. Nathan Cupps, VZAB Instructor
May 26, 201115 yr Excuse me but why don't you post it here?if you don't, future users cant benefit from the shared information. What is your reason for not wanting to read the manuals or follow the tutorials? Paul Smith.
May 26, 201115 yr What is your reason for not wanting to read the manuals or follow the tutorials? That's not the OP :( I suggest searching for YouTube tutorials. In conjunction with the manuals, that's usually a good way to learn. Programming holds are simple and shouldn't take you (the OP) too long. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
May 26, 201115 yr My original thought was he is not talking about hold patterns or race tracks, but he is talking about programming a route that starts and ends at the same airport, in this case KSEA. May 26, 201115 yr What is your reason for not wanting to read the manuals or follow the tutorials?I'm not even interested on that information, i'm just saying it's a shame to share information via pm when you can post it here and share with the rest of the community, even when it would be easier through a voice chat system (what Nathan said). May 27, 201115 yr i saw a vid on Youtube where they set up a range and bearing ring around the airport they where doing touch and goes at, its a case of leaving the runway and following the ring hehe, Found it here 2mins in you can see what i mean. May 27, 201115 yr I found this an 8 part tutorial on youtube about programming PMDG FMS's. (Done with the PMDG 737NG) Heres a link to the first video. Nathan Cupps, VZAB Instructor
May 27, 201115 yr Author Hey Anders, I'll show you some time!Thank you mr. Danielsen.. I know how to program a route and all that, but when it comes to programming a circuit without sid/stars, I am a bit lost Anders Weber ATPL(A) Student EKBI - Billund, Denmark
May 27, 201115 yr You mean a VFR circuit? Why would you want to program that? It's the best excercise to fly by hand!Bert Van Bulck
May 27, 201115 yr Thank you mr. Danielsen.. I know how to program a route and all that, but when it comes to programming a circuit without sid/stars, I am a bit lost Staying local? I simply set up my runway for departure (to get V speeds), a nearby enroute fix that I may or may not fly to and then the arrival (vfr or iap). Thus, I can hand fly or use limited A/P as desired and if I am shooting approaches I fly myself to the IAF for the procedure. Dan Downs KCRP
