unable to locate FSX

Featured Replies

Hi all,I am running vista, 64 bit. I have 2004 and fsx installed and both run fine. But I can not find the location for fsx to install or modify files. It is somehow hidden. Does anyone have any ideas on how to locate these files? [i am trying to install the TSS 777 sound file into the captainsim 777]thank youDoug Morlan

If you installed to default directory it would be under Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator XJust do a search for fsx.exe

right click the icon or the menu selection that you use to start the program. Select properties - if the selection is available select find target, otherwise the path should be listed.

You probably need to go to folder and search options and enable (check box) show hidden files and folders. Microsoft plays a lot of hide and seek with things.
