Not me . i research my purchases, especially, the large ones.   MSFS has provided me a flight sim experience for decades.... they have credibility with me.... they should also have it with you!

Of course, if there were no early adopters, then there would be no initial reviews/comments/etc for you to use to do your research into whether you want to buy later or not :->Tim

After being an early adopter for Microsoft ME operating system I have become a lot more cautious!! With Microsoft products I have now become a late adopter (SP2 with Windows XP and Acceleration with Flight Simulator X). I figure, once bitten twice shy (actually twice bitten, my laptop came with Windows Vista which I had to exorcise from that computer).Regards, Mike Mann

IMO, you're sort of using the term early adopter wrong :Big Grin:It's just a small segment that embraces novelty and change....and risk.Mostly so they can talk about their experience and lead the way for others.Folks concerned about getting burned aren't early adopters.I'm not one. And sounds like you’re not either.I'll still buy it on the first day to show my support, but I won't use it until I have good equipment. My PC's is an old winXP DX9 machine.I'm still blown away by what some people are getting out of FSX with good harware :(

Bryan.. You risk taker you!! It seems like you haven't take much risks in life or you wouldn't consider a software that cost less than a price of a dinner a danger to your well being!

"stung"? Bryan.. You risk taker you!! It seems like you haven't take much risks in life or you wouldn't consider a software that cost less than a price of a dinner a danger to your well being! Based on your expectations of life, you should never fork over $120 bucks to get a flying lessons, because you may not like it. Prudence is a good trait but not at expense of not reaching out a little.

Its just not that big of a risk ..... MSFS has entertained for decades, the track record is solid!

Haha, guess you must be a salesman. I think I will leave the beta testing to you though.Bryan.
